VANCOUVER, B.C. – Vancouver Whitecaps FC 2 has added a pair of Canadian standouts to its roster for the upcoming 2016 USL season, as Giuliano Frano and Daniel Haber join the club for its second season.

"We're excited to add Daniel and Giuliano to what is already a very competitive group,” said WFC2 Head Coach Alan Koch. “These are two talented young Canadians, one with three years of experience in Europe and the other with a year in the USL under his belt. Both players strengthen our roster as we head in to our second season.”

Frano spent the 2015 USL season with Seattle Sounders FC 2, where he was an integral player in the club reaching the USL Playoffs. Frano made 25 appearances for S2, recording more than 2,000 minutes of action, and recorded a pair of goals. His performances earned a call-up to Canada’s U23 National Team for the Olympic Qualifying Tournament following the season’s end.

Haber returns to North America after most recently competing in Israel for Hapoel Nir Ramat HaSharon FC. Capped five times by the Canadian National Team, Haber has also previously played in Cyprus for Apollon Limassol, for whom he competed in the UEFA Europa League.
