TULSA, Okla. – Tulsa Roughnecks FC announced on Thursday it has re-signed goalkeeper Jake Feener for the 2016 USL season.
A former member of the Sounders FC U23 and Seattle University, Feener assumed the starting role for the Roughnecks midway through his rookie season. He finished the season with 13 starts, and recorded a .756 save percentage as the Roughnecks went 7-3-3 with him in goal.

“I am excited to return to the Roughnecks for the 2016 season and be a part of a great organization and fan base,” said Feener. “I hope to help the team continue to move forward with the progress that we made last year.”Feener made a memorable debut in the USL against Orange County Blues FC on July 9, when he tied the league record for saves in a single game with 13 as the Roughnecks took a 4-1 victory. The 24-year-old was a Western Athletic Conference First Team selection in 2013, his senior season for the Redhawks, when he also claimed WAC Tournament Most Valuable Player honors.
