CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Queen City Soccer Club LLC has announced the addition of Wells Fargo as an official team sponsor of the Charlotte Independence through the 2016 season.
“This is a great day for the Independence,” said Wade Leaphart, the Independence’s Chief Revenue Officer. “Wells Fargo is community-oriented, loyal and passionate – especially about financial success. We are beyond excited to welcome them to the team. Their support is another testament to the effort to make Charlotte a major player in the U.S. soccer scene.”
Wells Fargo will be the presenting sponsor of Independence game recaps, league standings and the “Save of the Game” for each contest, with the partnership also set to include stadium signage, in-stadium displays, promotional items, print and digital advertisements, PA announcements, social media and hospitality.

In addition, Wells Fargo employees and customers will receive an exclusive discount on Independence tickets.
