CARSON, Calif. – The LA Galaxy II announced on Wednesday they had signed former Orange County Blues FC forward Denzel Slager for the upcoming 2016 USL season.
A native of Holland who has played internationally for Curacao, Slager had a strong first season in the USL as he recorded six goals and added two assists for the Blues. The 22-year-old will now join the side that eliminated his former club on the way to the 2015 USL Western Conference Championship.

Prior to playing for the Blues, Slager was with English club Coventry City in League One, for which he made four appearances.The LA Galaxy II will host Arizona United SC in their opening game of the 2016 USL regular season on Saturday, March 26 at StubHub Center.
