WILMINGTON, N.C. – Wilmington Hammerheads FC has announced the acquisition of Jeff Michaud on a season-long loan from the Tampa Bay Rowdies.
“This is a great opportunity, and I’m excited to be here,” said Michaud. “I am here to contribute to the team in any way possible.”
Michaud competed collegiately for Eastern Florida State University, and also played in the PDL for Fort Lauderdale Shulz Academy before turning professional with the Rowdies in 2015. Hammerheads Head Coach Mark Briggs said he was pleased to have Michaud in his squad.

“I'm excited to get the loan deal for Jeff done,” said Briggs. “He's a very good player and will excite our fans with his ability going forward.”
Michaud’s first outing for the Hammerheads could come at his former college, as the Hammerheads visit Orlando City B on Saturday, March 26 to kick off the new USL season. Wilmington’s home opener is set for Friday, April 1 against the Richmond Kickers at Legion Stadium.
