ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Saint Louis FC will hit the road on Saturday night for a preseason visit to Charleston, S.C., as the club continued preparations for its second season in the USL with a visit to the Low Country.
After kicking off preseason this week at the St. Louis Scott Gallagher complex in Collinsville, Illinois, the team is looking forward to what the trip will offer, as well as its first official scrimmages.
”We’re eager to begin the next phase of our preseason,” said STLFC General Manager Jeremy Alumbaugh. “Our time in Charleston will offer us a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the state of our team and we’re especially appreciative of College of Charleston and Charleston Southern for allowing us to train at their facilities, as well as the Charleston Battery for hosting the event.”

Saint Louis will face the College of Charleston on Wednesday afternoon for its first contest of the preseason. Dale Schilly’s side will then face a pair of contests to conclude the camp next Saturday as it meets Coastal Carolina at 10 a.m. ET and USL rival the Charleston Battery at 4 p.m. ET.
Saint Louis FC opens the 2016 USL regular season with a visit to Real Monarchs SLC on Saturday, March 26 at 8 p.m. CT. The club’s home opener is set for Saturday, April 16 as it hosts Tulsa Roughnecks FC at 7:30 p.m. CT.
