Herrera has also made 10 appearances for El Salvador internationally, and scored his first goal for his country against St. Kitts & Nevis in World Cup Qualifying last June. El Salvador currently sits third behind Mexico and Canada in Group A of the fourth stage of CONCACAF qualifying for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.“We are excited to have Irvin join the club,” said Saint Louis Head Coach Dale Schilly. “He has a striker’s mentality and his interpretation of the position is in line with how Saint Louis FC will be defined this year.
