Riverhounds Sign Former Bucks Defender Postlewait

PITTSBURGH – The Pittsburgh Riverhounds announced on Friday they had signed defender Caleb Postlewait for the 2016 USL season.

The 22-year-old played for the Michigan Bucks over the past two PDL season, and was part of the team that claimed the 2014 PDL Championship. Postlewait also made 69 appearances for Butler, and recorded five goals and six assists in his college career. Last fall, he was named to the All-Big East Second Team as he started all 18 of the Bulldogs’ contests.

Postlewait made his first appearances for the Riverhounds as a second-half substitute in last Saturday’s exhibition at Penn State University. He provided the game-winning assist in the Riverhounds’ 2-1 victory.

The Riverhounds continue their preseason on Sunday, when they host Ohio State University at Highmark Stadium. Kickoff is at 2 p.m. ET, and admission is free.
