PITTSBURGH – The Pittsburgh Riverhounds announced on Wednesday the signing of local goalkeeping standout Brenden Alfery for the 2016 USL season.
Alfery had been the starting goalkeeper for Robert Morris University over the past two seasons, as he made 37 appearances for the Colonials across his junior and senior season. This past fall, he led the Northeast Conference with 112 saves, posted a goals-against average of 1.15, and recorded five shutouts.
