HARRISBURG, Pa. – The Harrisburg City Islanders have announced the return of forward Danny DiPrima for his third season with the club.
DiPrima made 15 appearances for the City Islanders a year ago before his season was cut short by a torn ACL. The 22-year-old local product had played a key role for the club in 2014, as he scored in the club’s semifinal victory in the USL Playoffs against the Richmond Kickers to earn Harrisburg its second trip to the USL Championship.

“Danny had a great 2015 Season that was unfortunately cut short due to injury,” said City Islanders Head Coach Bill Becher. “However, we are optimistic his relentless off-season work has him back to full strength.”
DiPrima previously competed collegiately for St. John’s University and North Carolina State, where he spent his final three seasons. DiPrima appeared 51 times for the Wolfpack, and recorded four goals and five assists.
