LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Louisville City FC announced on Monday the signing of three new players for the 2016 season, as forward Kenny Doublette, defender Paco Craig and midfielder Kyle Smith joined James O’Connor’s squad.
“We are thrilled to have Kenny, Kyle and Paco all join,” O'Connor said. “They have all come through the preseason and each have warranted a contract with us. It will take time for them to get used to the speed of play and intensity, but all three have a willingness to learn which is important.”
Craig joins his former teammate with the Ocala Stampede Ilija Ilic in Louisville after earning PDL All-Southern Conference honors in 2015. Craig made 26 appearances for the Stampede over two seasons as the club claimed a pair of conference titles. He also played alongside Ilic and Niall McCabe for Young Harris College, where he was a three-time NSCAA Division II All-American, and the first player in Peach Belt Conference history to win both Freshman of the Year and Player of the Year honors.

Doublette also starred in Division II college soccer, as he helped Southern New Hampshire claim the NCAA Championship in 2013. A native of Haiti, Doublette recorded 23 goals and 13 assists in his three seasons at the school.
Smith previously played for Division III’s Transylvania University in Ohio, where he recorded 18 goals and eight assists in his final season at the school. Smith was named the Heartland College Athletic Conference MVP in 2012, and now gets his first chance in the professional ranks.
