COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC has announced the signing of former Orange County Blues FC defender Josh Suggs for the 2016 USL season. Suggs is the first new addition to the Switchbacks’ squad this offseason.
Suggs had spent the past two seasons with Orange County, and made 25 appearances in 2015 as the club finished top of the USL’s Western Conference in the regular season. A native of Las Cruces, New Mexico, Suggs had two goals and two assists for the Blues in 47 regular-season appearances.
“Josh is a player that I identified from Orange County Blues last season and I thought he was one of the best left backs in the league,” said Switchbacks Coach Steve Trittschuh. “When he became available I wanted him to be part of this team to help solidify our back line and help in the attack.”
