OKLAHOMA CITY – OKC Energy FC has announced a new television partnership with Griffin Communications that will see a minimum of 15 USL regular season games aired on KSBI Channel 52 this season.
Energy FC, which reached the Western Conference Final of the 2015 USL Playoffs, could also bring the club’s games in the Black Gold Derby held at ONEOK Field in Tulsa to the airwaves, as they work with Tulsa Roughnecks FC on possible broadcasts of the in-state rivalry.
“When Tim and I discussed the opportunity to air our matches on KSBI with Griffin Communications, we were ecstatic,” said Energy FC co-owner Bob Funk Jr. “Griffin is well respected in the state of Oklahoma and we’re proud to work with them to broadcast Energy FC matches to more fans across our city.”

Griffin Communications Chairman & CEO David F. Griffin said he was delighted to partner with Energy FC as the club continues to grow entering its third season in the USL.
“As Oklahoma’s only locally-owned television group, we are constantly on the lookout for quality, local programming that showcases our state,” said Griffin. “We are pleased to be able to broadcast the OKC Energy FC games on KSBI. The club has shown remarkable growth in its two short years playing in Oklahoma City and has proven that there is an appetite for professional soccer in Oklahoma.”Energy FC also announced on Thursday a partnership with VISTA Worldlink, a global leader in transmission services provisioning satellite capacity, mobile and fixed uplinks, fiber optics, streaming services and cutting edge creative products and services. VISTA Worldlink clients include Major League Soccer (MLS), ESPN, ABC and Univision.
