TORONTO – Toronto FC II has announced the signing of 2016 MLS SuperDraft selection Mitchell Taintor for the 2016 USL season.
A former player at Rutgers, Taintor performed impressively in both Toronto FC and TFC II’s preseason camps, with his versatility a plus for TFC General Manager Tim Bezbatchenko.
“Mitchell is a versatile player that has experience in both midfield and defense and has proven himself during preseason with both the first team and Toronto FC II,” said Bezbatchenko. “We are excited to bring Mitchell to Toronto FC II and allow him to continue his development under Jason Bent.”
