SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio FC announced on Thursday it had signed former FC Dallas Homegrown Player Danny Garcia ahead of the club’s inaugural season.
Garcia signed with FC Dallas in 2013, and made four appearances in the MLS regular season in 2014 before spending much of the 2015 season on loan with the USL’s Arizona United SC. While with United, Garcia made 15 appearances and recorded one assist during the regular season.
“Danny is a creative player that can play several different roles along the entire midfield area,” said San Antonio FC Head Coach Darren Powell. “I’m looking forward to Danny getting a good run of games with us. He has had some great experiences with FC Dallas previously and he will help us on both the attacking and defensive sides of the ball.”

I’m excited to meet the fans, the staff and my new teammates. I can’t wait to get down there and start the season.”
