BRADENTON, Fla. – Andrew Wiedeman scored a pair of goals as FC Cincinnati swept to a 4-0 victory against Danish side HB Køge to claim the IMG Suncoast Pro Classic on Saturday night at IMG Academy.
All of the goals came in the second half, as Cincinnati took the lead from the penalty spot 13 minutes after the break. HB Køge goalkeeper Frederick Hansen brought down Sean Okoli as he broke into the penalty area, and was also shown a red card, before Wiedeman converted from the spot.
Cincinnati doubled its advantage seven minutes later as former Philadelphia Union winger Jimmy McLaughlin scored his first goal for the club. Former Wilmington Hammerheads FC midfielder Paul Nicholson found Wiedeman with a pass, and he flicked the ball through to McLaughlin to finish.

Cincinnati finished top of the four-team round robin tournament with seven points after having previously earned a 2-2 draw with Icelandic side FC Reykjavik last Saturday, and a dramatic 2-1 win against Major League Soccer’s New York City FC on Wednesday.
