BRADENTON, Fla. – FC Cincinnati can claim its first silverware – albeit of the preseason variety – as it faces Danish side HB Køge on Saturday evening in its final contest of the IMG Suncoast Pro Classic. A win for Cincinnati will give it an unassailable lead in the four-team round robin tournament at IMG Academy.
John Harkes’ side moved to the top of the standings on Wednesday night in dramatic fashion, as Harrison Delbridge capped a furious ending that saw Cincinnati take a 2-1 victory against New York City FC. With four points from two games, Cincinnati sits a point ahead of both NYCFC and its opponent on Saturday night.

HB Køge is also coming off a victory on Wednesday, as it defeated KR Reykjavik 2-1 on the tournament’s second day. Luke Spencer has been a catalyst off the bench in both games for Cincinnati, scoring in both games so far this tournament. Sean Okoli also had a good game on Wednesday, and will hope to open his Cincinnati account to help lead his side to victory on Wednesday.
Wednesday’s game will be streamed by IMG Academy, with single-day passes to the tournament’s streaming site available for $5.99.
