BRADENTON, Fla. – As time ticked down on FC Cincinnati’s first game in club history, it appeared the club would fall to FC Reykjavik as it trailed in its first preseason contest at IMG Academy on Saturday night.

Then, a bolt from the blue by Corben Bone gave Cincinnati not only a 2-2 draw, but a magical moment to cap the club’s first outing.

Bone, a former MLS veteran who spent the 2015 season with Wilmington Hammerheads FC, was one of the 11 players unveiled by Cincinnati’s as the club’s first signings in December, as the club looks to make a strong first impression in its inaugural season in the USL.

Cincinnati’s preseason preparations continue on Wednesday night as it faces New York City FC of Major League Soccer at IMG Academy. Kickoff is set for 5 p.m. ET.
