IRVINE, Calif. – Orange County Blues FC has announced the signing of Jamaican international Andrae Campbell for the 2016 USL season.
Campbell played for the past two seasons with Wilmington Hammerheads FC, where he made 44 appearances and recorded one goal and one assist in the regular season. The full back had previously played for Norwegian side Nortodden FK.
“I’m elated to be a part of a club as prestigious as the OC Blues,” said Campbell. “The goals and aspirations of the club for the upcoming season are in sync with my personal goals for the season, and I’m looking forward to a successful year with my new team.”

Campbell made his international debut for the Reggae Boyz in 2009, and has made nine appearances for the side in addition to his time with Jamaica’s U20 National Team. He joins fellow Jamaican Brenton Griffiths in the Blues defense for the upcoming season.
“Andrae is a top quality defender and has proved he can compete on the international stage,” said Blues Head Coach and General Manager Oliver Wyss. “We are excited to add him to an outstanding defense that we feel can take us to the USL Championship.”
