RICHMOND, Va. – The Richmond Kickers announced on Friday that homegrown goalkeeper Ryan Taylor would return for his fourth season with the club.
The local standout made 17 regular-season appearances in 2015, and recorded a career-high five shutouts to finish with a 9-5-3 record in goal as the Kickers reached the USL Playoffs for the fifth consecutive season.

“I’m very excited to be back playing in my hometown for another year,” Taylor said. “We have a good core group of guys returning who are motivated to push for a championship and I’m looking forward to starting preseason camp.”
After a standout youth career with FC Richmond, Taylor attended Radford University, where he was named to the Big South All-Conference Team as a senior after posting a 0.99 goals-against average.
